LCF Staff Help Local Foster Care
Organization

4 Kids Barbecue with employees posing under welcome families sign
Lotspeich has a long history of working alongside 4KIDS of South Florida, Inc., a local non-profit dedicated to helping abused, neglected, and abandoned children in our community.  For 19 years, David Fee, Lotspeich CEO, has served on the Board of Directors for 4KIDS.  LCF support for 4KIDS’ vision has manifested itself in many ways, whether through helping raise funds for the organization or providing in-kind construction services.

Most recently, a group of LCF staff volunteered their time to help at 4KIDS annual foster care picnic, a fun-filled day for 4KIDS’ many foster families.  LCF staff helped with set-up and tear-down, as well as playing games with the children.

In an email to LCF, a 4KIDS’ staff member later relayed: “The guys that came to volunteer at the foster family picnic this past Saturday were AMAZING! The kids had such a great time and our staff were blessed to have their ‘manpower’ to assist with all of the setup and break down. They had great attitudes and servant hearts!”

LCF Raises Money through Local ‘Pinkball’ Charity Event

Pink Ball softball tournament LCF team members

For the past 5 years, Lotspeich has organized a softball team to participate in a local PinkBall Tournament, put on by Boca Raton Regional Hospital.  Lotspeich staff joined professional athletes and other community advocates in supporting the Christine E. Lynn Women’s Health & Wellness Institute in their efforts to prevent breast cancer.  This year, the event raised a total of $41,000 for the benefit of women who lack the funds or insurance for preventative screenings. According to www.bocapinkball.com, since it’s inception, Pinkball Inc. has funded over 1,400 procedures at the Women’s Institute and diagnosed 25 early stage breast cancer.
